I bought a Zaxis for my parents for Christmas. Installed it in about 30 minutes. They have an older NuWa, and
so it was pretty easy.
My wife asked me if I bought one for us and I said "no, but maybe later". Well, between my friend Ozz and my
devious wife, I got one for Christmas, too! She asked Ozz to get one, have it delivered to their place (so I
wouldn't know!), and surprised me on the big day!
It took me about 45 minutes to install in our 3400, only because I wanted to wrap the wires in loom and wanted
to place it towards the front of the front compartment so that I could easily get to the on/off switch.
I LOVE IT!!!!
And, to echo previous posts about quality, it is a well thought out and engineered unit. Simple connections,
and it WORKS!
Since we have a BedSaver, I have had to (in the past...) raise the kingpin above the BedSaver, back up a little
bit, then lower the 5er to the right hookup position. Now, I don't have to get out of the truck!!!!
I can tell you this: for a buck and a half, it is one option worth getting. My dad would never have bought it
because he is watching his pennies. But, after installing it, he was jazzed, and my mom could see applications
too: in the past she would tell dad to raise or lower so that the fridge would work (remember I told you they
have an older NuWa) and she would either have to shout or go out and in to look at the level on their counter.
She too, is jazzed.
Maybe I should get a patronage fee for this commercial. Oh well...

...It wasn't hard at all to install. Paul being an electrician was
able to pop it all together in no time at all. Even if you aren't an
electrician the instructions are very clear. We haven't had any
problems at all in fact it has done away with all of the problems that
we were having, the screaming, name calling, cussing, spitting,
sputtering, and whatever else goes on when 2 people work against each
other. No matter what I would say, he wouldn't believe me and would
second guess me which always made for a lovely day. This way I felt
there was no one to blame except the one with the remote... LOL.
Really, it is a delight having this remote system...

Here are some photos of the Zaxis install in our 2005 Wildcat
29BHBP. The installation was very easy, the toughest part was to find the
mounting location. I also used this opportunity to re-route and protect some of
the original wiring that should have been done at the factory. This is a very
convenient and easy to use product. Thanks.

I just wanted to let you know that after several trips with the
Zaxis unit installed on our Montana 2980RL that I am very pleased with
the product. Having the remote makes hooking up so much easier and quicker
as I can be raising or lowering the landing gear while walking around and
checking other things. My wife is amazed at how easy it is to be able to
control the kingpin height from the cab of the truck while hooking up. Thanks
again for a great product.

We just completed the install of the Zaxis Landing
Gear Remote on our Wildcat. It's a very nice system that we couldn't
live without after trying it.

Installation went smoothly and it worked first
time. I installed the Zaxis on the front basement wall near the left
side access door. This required drilling a pass-through hole in the
basement wall to run the wires to the front compartment where the jack
motor and rocker switch are located. Have used it for several outings
already and find it to be a great convenience! Hitching and unhitching
can now be done from inside the cab or for just leveling after
unhitching, in the shade of a nearby tree. In fact, I now prefer using
the key fob to the rocker switch.
Great product! Thanks!

Thank you for the prompt shipment. I installed it
yesterday, and if worked right off the bat. The installation was
pretty simple, but I did have an electrician friend with me to help as
I didn't want to screw up the installation. Attached is a picture of
my installation. It went in on the opposite side from the motor but
right next to the landing gear switch. There was plenty of extra wire
at the switch so we only used about 8" of new wire. Very clean
installation and took one hour, but admittedly it could have taken
less time because we spent most of the hour looking at the wiring
diagram and the trailer wiring. Next week we take off on the road for
a 3 week trip so it will get a good work out. Thanks again.

Here are 3 photos from the Zaxis install on our
2005 Montana model 3500RL. Not a difficult install at all. Deciding
where to cut the battery to switch wires was probably the most
difficult part. Total install time was probably 30 to 45 minutes.
Works great!!

I wanted to update you on my Zaxis install project.
Everything worked as planned. Very easy install. Even the installation
of the second switch to allow me to control the front landing gear as
well as the rear electric stabilizer jacks. Great product.
P.S. Looks like Harry from Factoryville, PA must have read my post
about the second switch install on the Cedar Creek RV Club forum (http://CedarCreekRVClub.com/).

I installed the Zaxis with no problems. The most
time was spent installing the unit it self as to the confined space I
had to work in. The landing gear and the rear stabilizers all work
from the unit. I installed a DPDT switch (NAPA part no TG6144.) This
way the landing gear and stabilizers can be operated from the remote
control unit by switching to what I want working.
Harry
This is the finished installation showing the DPDT
switch and part of the Zaxis unit. I have to tell you this is a fine piece
of equipment and it works great with the landing gear and the rear
stabilizers. I wish you great success with the unit and will sure show
it to all my camping friends.

Just a note to let you know my wife really likes the Zaxis.
Before I installed the Zaxis I would backup to the hitch and the wife
would raise or lower the coach until the right height was reached.
Now I do it from inside the truck with the remote while the wife is
visiting with friends.
Thanks for all your help and for staying in touch to make sure all worked for me.
The Zaxis works great!

The Zaxis Landing Gear Remote Control unit you sent was received
yesterday and I installed it this morning. It works fine and the
installation was a breeze.
Choosing a location with convenient access seemed to be the largest
criteria to the installation, I put mine on the inside of the lower
front wall next to the back side of the manual switch.
I've used the Zaxis while hitching and unhitching several times and have found it makes
the process much easier and convenient. It eliminates climbing in and
out of the cab to make small height adjustments with the manual
switch.

That had to be 1 of the easiest installs out there. This is a KZ
Sportster 37p2 all the wires had #10 wire nuts so all I needed to do
was make a wire harness to the receiver, wire tie it and make it look
good. Start to finish 30 minutes tops and that included taking the LP
tanks out.

Here are a few pictures. It is on a 2003 HR
Presidential 36SKT fiver. I got the matching AMP connectors from an
electronics web store that helped make it a cleaner install. Please
excuse the battery setup. It is temporary for the winter as I will be
taking them out soon. This unit was not setup for multiple batteries
so I am figuring a way to do it right.
I hope to see your system written up in Trailer
Life magazine. Any chances of that?
